So you've been considering microdosing psilocybin but aren't sure how much. I get this question a lot, a simple google search turns up multiple suggestions for doses varying anywhere from 60mg to 300mg, that's a WIDE range that can produce vastly different effects for individuals across the board. Having been an avid practitioner and advisor for many years, it is my personal opinion that the sweet spot for microdosing psilocybin mushrooms is 90mg-120mg of the mushroom powder, the exact amount of the actual psilocybin molecule varies across different strains and can not be accurately determined without specialized equipment which is not necessary for individual practice. While some advisors might suggest higher doses, in my experience, higher doses carry a significant risk of altering the individual and while potentially beneficial for isolated dosing days, are not suitable for an ongoing regimented protocol. Furthermore, a large majority of individuals attracted to this practice tend to experience generalized or social anxiety which can be triggered by larger doses. When it comes to microdosing, LESS IS MORE! The most profound results aren't necessarily found in higher doses but rather in a careful adherence to your specific protocol's schedule; CONSISTENCY IS KEY!
